Terms of Service

1. The Service

My Trader Pro provides educational software for trading performance management: journaling, analytics, risk calculation, behavioral scoring, market-structure detection and backtesting tools (the "Service"). The Service is provided on a subscription basis through mytraderpro.com.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal: one login per member. Credential sharing, resale, or simultaneous multi-party use is prohibited and grounds for termination without refund beyond the guarantee window. If you want a coach, mentor or accountability partner to see your trading, use the Mentor Desk™ feature described in section 7 — never your password.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Memberships bill in advance on a recurring monthly basis at the tier price displayed at checkout, processed by our payment providers (e.g., Stripe). Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your Account page; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the end of the paid period. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid.

4. Refunds

All plans carry the 30-day money-back guarantee described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property & Trade Secrets

The Service — including the FVG Radar™, TiltGuard™, LicenseLadder™, EdgePulse™ and ProfitCone™ engines, their underlying rules, formulas, trigger conditions, grading logic, code, design and content — is the exclusive property of MTP and is protected by copyright, trademark and trade-secret law. Your membership grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service. You agree not to copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, extract, resell, white-label, publicly disclose, or create derivative works from any part of the Service or its proprietary methodology. Your own trading data is yours; the engines that analyze it are ours.

6. Acceptable Use

You will not: misuse or overload the Service; attempt unauthorized access; use the Service for unlawful activity; upload malicious code; or misrepresent the Service's outputs as guarantees of trading performance to any third party.

7. Mentor Desk™ — sharing with a coach

The Service lets you grant another member visibility of trading accounts you select, at an access level you choose. You control who, which accounts, and the level: view-only access is read-only and enforced server-side; full access, which you may optionally grant, additionally permits the coach to add, edit and delete journal trades on the shared accounts only — never your settings, other accounts, or any other data — and every such edit is logged and visible to you. You may change the access level, narrow the shared accounts, or revoke access at any time with immediate effect. Both parties require an active membership.

By creating a share you confirm the data is yours to share and you accept that the person you choose will see it — and, if you grant full access, that they can modify journal entries on the shared accounts. You remain responsible for reviewing coach edits, which are recorded in your audit trail. If you receive access as a coach, you agree to treat the trader's data as confidential, to use it solely to provide feedback to that trader, and not to copy, publish, resell or otherwise disclose it. You must not attempt to exceed the access level granted to you. We are not a party to any coaching arrangement between members, do not vet coaches, and are not responsible for the quality, conduct or advice of any coach — nor for a coach's use of information or edit rights you have chosen to give them.

8. Affiliate / Partner Program

Members and non-members may apply to promote the Service as affiliates ("Partners"). Participation is subject to approval at our discretion, and to these terms. Partners earn a commission — currently 30% of qualifying payments, recurring for the lifetime of each referred subscription, with higher rates available at published performance tiers — on new customers referred through their unique link or coupon code within the attribution (cookie) window. Rates, tiers and windows are those published on our affiliate pages at the time of the referral and may change prospectively.

Commissions are held for a review period aligned with our refund guarantee, are reversed on refunded, charged-back, fraudulent or self-referred purchases, and are paid once the Partner's approved balance reaches the stated minimum, to the payout details the Partner provides. A Partner must: clearly and conspicuously disclose the affiliate relationship wherever they promote (as required by the FTC and equivalent regulators); never state or imply any guaranteed income, profit or trading result, on their own behalf or ours; not bid on our brand or trademark terms in paid search; not use spam, misleading claims, cookie-stuffing, incentivized or coupon/deal-site placements that we have not approved; and not refer their own purchases. The Service is trading education and analytics, not financial advice, and all promotion must reflect that. We may withhold or reverse commissions and suspend or terminate any Partner who breaches these terms, and we may end the program or change its terms prospectively at any time. Partners are independent contractors; nothing here creates an employment, agency, partnership or joint-venture relationship.

9. Testimonials & Community

If you submit a testimonial or results, you grant us a licence to display it with your first name and country unless you request otherwise in writing, and you represent that it is truthful and reflects your genuine experience. We never pay for favorable testimonials; discounted or free access provided to testers is always disclosed where the testimonial appears.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. ANALYTICS, GRADES, BACKTESTS AND SIGNAL STATES ARE STATISTICAL TOOLS DERIVED FROM DATA YOU SUPPLY AND FROM HISTORICAL INFORMATION; THEY DO NOT PREDICT FUTURE MARKET BEHAVIOR.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MTP AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY TRADING LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, OR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination you may export your trading data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE/COUNTRY]. Disputes will first be attempted in good faith negotiation; unresolved disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [VENUE], unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-portal notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account data — name, email, username, hashed password, membership tier and billing status.
• Payment data — processed entirely by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
• Portal data — the trading journal entries, settings, and imported price data you save to your account so it can sync across your devices. This data belongs to you.
• Usage data — sync timestamps, and standard server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and performance.

2. How we use it

To operate your account and sync your portal; to process payments and prevent fraud; to provide support; to send service emails (renewals, receipts, material changes); and — in anonymous, aggregated form only — to compute platform-level statistics such as total trades logged by all members. We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your individual trading data with anyone — the only exceptions are data you explicitly choose to share yourself using Mentor Desk (section 4 below), and disclosures required by law.

3. Marketing aggregates

Platform statistics used publicly (e.g., "members have logged 40,000 trades") are computed from aggregate counters across all accounts and can never be traced to an individual member.

4. Sharing with a coach (Mentor Desk™)

The Service includes an optional feature that lets you give another member — typically a coach or mentor — visibility of your trading data. This sharing is entirely under your control and never happens automatically:

• You initiate it. Nobody can request, claim or be granted access to your data without you creating the share yourself.
• You choose the scope. You select which specific trading accounts a coach may view. Data belonging to accounts you did not select is filtered out on our servers and is never transmitted to them.
• You choose the access level. The default is view-only: a coach can look at the accounts you shared and cannot create, edit or delete anything — a restriction enforced on our servers, not merely hidden in the interface. You may optionally grant full access, which allows the coach to add, edit and delete journal trades on the shared accounts only; your settings, your other accounts and everything else remain untouchable, every edit is logged with a count and timestamp visible to you, and you can withdraw full access at any moment.
• What they see. For the accounts you share: your trades and their details, your journal notes on those trades, your performance statistics, and your account settings needed to display them correctly.
• You can see and end it. We log each time a coach opens your data and show you the count and most recent time. You may reduce the shared accounts or revoke access entirely at any moment, with immediate effect.
• Notification. When you create a share we send a one-time email to the address you provide, telling that person you have granted them access and at which level.

Please share thoughtfully: once a coach has viewed your data they may retain their own notes or recollection of it, which revoking access cannot undo. We are not responsible for what a person you have chosen to share with does with information you have shown them.

5. Third parties

We use a small set of processors to run the Service: our hosting provider, Stripe (payments), and our email delivery provider. Each receives only the data required for its function and is bound by its own privacy obligations. Our servers also retrieve public market data and the public economic-calendar feed from third-party sources to power the live radar and News Desk™; these requests are made by our servers on their own behalf and transmit no member data whatsoever.

6. Cookies

We use strictly-necessary cookies for login sessions and security. Analytics cookies, if introduced, will be disclosed here and consent obtained where required.

7. Your rights

You may access, export, correct, or delete your personal data. Delete your journal data yourself at any time from the portal ("Full reset"), export it with one click, or email [CONTACT EMAIL] to request full account deletion. EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection); California residents have rights under CCPA/CPRA. We honor verified requests within 30 days.

8. Retention & security

Account and portal data are retained while your account is active and for up to 30 days after termination, then deleted or irreversibly anonymized. Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure; notify us immediately of any suspected breach of your account.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Refund Policy

How it works

• Applies to your first subscription payment on any tier, once per customer.
• Email [CONTACT EMAIL] from your account email within 30 days of the first charge. That's the entire process.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Access ends when the refund is issued.

Renewals & cancellations

Renewal payments are not automatically refundable, because you can cancel any time from your Account page before a renewal bills. If a renewal charged when you intended to cancel, contact us within 7 days and we'll make it right.

Discounted & free accounts

Promotional, discounted and tester accounts enjoy the same cancellation rights; refunds apply to the amount actually paid.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — we resolve virtually everything faster than a chargeback does. Accounts with fraudulent chargebacks are permanently closed.

My Trader Pro is an educational and performance-analytics tool. Nothing on this website or inside the member portal — including radar states, grades, gates, scores, backtest results, or any other output — is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to trade. We do not know your personal financial situation. Consult a licensed financial professional before making investment decisions.

Hypothetical & backtested performance

Performance figures displayed on this website are generated by the platform's backtesting engine applied to historical market data, net of modeled costs. HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS. THEY ARE PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT, DO NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND DO NOT ACCOUNT FOR ALL REAL-MARKET FACTORS SUCH AS VARIABLE SPREADS, SLIPPAGE, LIQUIDITY, OR THE PSYCHOLOGICAL PRESSURE OF ACTUAL TRADING. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. PAST PERFORMANCE, ACTUAL OR BACKTESTED, IS NOT INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RESULTS.

Testimonials

Any testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not typical results; most traders lose money. Testers who received free or discounted access are identified as such wherever their statements appear.

Prop-firm & broker relationships

My Trader Pro is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any broker or proprietary trading firm. Compliance with your broker's or prop firm's rules is your responsibility.

Your responsibility

By using the Service you acknowledge that you understand these risks, that all trading decisions and their outcomes are exclusively your own, and that MTP bears no liability for your trading results.
